We had the opportunity to reflect on our last quarter of progress at our recent board meeting and wow… we’ve done a lot! Here are 3 of the highlights:

1. We built a significant back-end system

In the past 3-months, we built a back-end system that allows us to deploy any generator app as a cloud API with one-click (we’ve already deployed four!). The back-end can efficiently auto-scale data generation jobs across hundreds of workers.

Auto-scaling was critical to implement. Although our customers generated twice as much data in June as in May, our AWS bill was smaller in June because we had efficient auto-scaling in place.

2. Our open-source strategy worked

At the start of the year we had a hypothesis that releasing an open-source dataset would be a good way to start working with customers. Our open-source dataset (InfiniteRep) got us in the door with 91+% of our current fitness customers. Today, we are working with most of the major remote fitness brands.

3. Our customers have generated a lot of synthetic data in a self-serve way

Our customers generated over 3.5M synthetic data frames in the past quarter using the Infinity API (over 2M of those frames were in June alone!). The most exciting part is that customers achieved better model performance, changed hiring decisions because of the availability of our product, and shipped models into production with our synthetic data.

Our customer used the Infinity API to generate over 3.5M frames of synthetic data (2M frames in June alone)!
